Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 May 2026 · Effective immediately
These Terms govern your use of Conjure(the “Service”), operated by SPECTR (“we”, “us”). Conjure helps you build, test, deploy, and run Discord bots. By creating an account you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the European Economic Area / UK) and old enough to legally enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You must have a valid Discord account that also meets Discord's minimum age requirements. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.
2. The bots you build
Bots created on Conjure are yours. We claim no ownership of the bot code, the underlying Discord application, or anything your bot does in the servers it's invited to. You own the IP. You also own the responsibility:
- You're responsible for what your bot does. If your bot spams servers, harasses users, or breaks Discord's rules, that's on you — not us.
- You're responsible for complying with Discord's Terms of Service and Developer Terms. Bots that violate them risk Discord-side action that Conjure cannot reverse.
- You're responsible for the privacy of data your bot collects from its users (Discord members on servers you invite it to). If your bot stores anything beyond what Discord considers transient operational data, you may need your own privacy policy for that bot.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Conjure to build or deploy bots that:
- Engage in or facilitate illegal activity, including but not limited to fraud, child exploitation, distribution of malware, or unauthorized access to systems.
- Harass, threaten, or harm other people. This includes mass-mentioning, DM bombing, doxxing, or stalking via Discord.
- Distribute hateful content, sexually explicit content involving minors, or content that promotes violence against people based on identity.
- Spam, scam, phish, scrape Discord at scale, or otherwise abuse Discord's API beyond what its rate limits permit.
- Attempt to break out of the Conjure sandbox, reverse-engineer the Service, or extract other users' tokens, code, or data.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations. We may also report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities and cooperate with Discord's Trust & Safety team.
4. Discord bot tokens
To deploy a bot we need its Discord bot token. By providing one, you authorize us to use it to run that bot on your behalf. We encrypt every token at rest with AES-256-GCM; the encryption key lives in our deployment environment and is not stored alongside the ciphertext. We never display tokens back to you, log them, or share them with third parties. If you suspect a token has leaked, reset it in the Discord developer portal — that immediately invalidates the copy we hold.
5. Plans, billing, and refunds
We offer a Free tier and three paid subscription tiers (Hobby, Pro, Studio). Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; we don't prorate.
- Refunds are at our discretion. We'll generally refund within 14 days of purchase if you haven't used a significant portion of your AI update allowance.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers. New pricing applies at your next renewal.
- AI update allowances reset on the 1st of each calendar month. Unused updates don't roll over.
- Deleting a bot does not refund its bot-creation slot on Free / Hobby / Pro. This is an anti-abuse measure documented in-app when you delete.
6. Hosting and uptime
Deployed bots run on Fly.io Machines. We aim for high availability but make no specific uptime guarantee. Cold starts, Fly-side incidents, Discord-side incidents, and your own bot crashing are normal parts of operating a Discord bot. The Service is provided on an “as is” basis.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that we reasonably suspect of fraud or abuse, or whose payment fails and remains uncured for 7 days.
On termination we stop your deployed bots, delete your stored code and tokens within 30 days, and stop charging you. Some data may persist longer in encrypted backups for up to 90 days for operational reasons.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Conjure is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that AI-generated code is bug-free, complete, or fit for any particular purpose — review it before relying on it in production.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater. We're not liable for consequential, indirect, or punitive damages.
9. Not affiliated with Discord
Conjure is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc. “Discord” is a trademark of Discord Inc.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make material changes we'll notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
